The Devil's Code, by John Sanford

This review is based on the Recorded Books audio version of the novel.

This is a fun story involving a high tech thief who specializes in corporate espionage, and a sexy cat burglar who get involved with a plot by a company specializing in encryption technologies.

The main character, the corporate thief, is billed as a hacker. The book is not about hacking, however. That all happens more or less behind the scenes, with most of it done by other characters. What you get in the book is the main characters unraveling a conspiracy, and breaking into various secured locations as part of their unraveling.

The book's written in an engaging style, and the main characters are likeable. I don't really have any complaints about the book, and plan on looking for more by Sanford when I have the chance.
